APMT orders 28 cranes for Rotterdam

APM Terminals has ordered 28 automated cranes for the Maasvlakte II terminal in Rotterdam from the Austrian crane manufacturer Kuenz. APMT said 26 automated rail-mounted gantry cranes (ARMG) will be deployed in the container yard, and two of the cranes will be used to handle containers on and off intermodal trains.
