APL, PIL start Far East-Red Sea service

   APL and fellow Singapore-based carrier Pacific International Lines will launch a new service between the Far East and Red Sea next month.    Eight ships (APL three and PIL five) of about 6,000-TEU capacity will be deployed in the joint service.    The first vessel in the service will depart Shanghai on June 21 with the rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Chiwan, Nansha, Singapore, Djibouti, Aden, Jeddah, Sukhna, Aqaba, Djibouti, Singapore, Nansha, and Shangh...
