Liner carrier APL’s average revenue per 40-foot container fell 20 percent year-on-year to $2,559, in the four-week period ending Aug. 26, the line said Monday. APL’s volume increased 8 percent in the same period to 235,200 TEUs, mirroring the line’s volume growth year-to-date, which stands at 1.9 million TEUs.
