COSCO raising Asia-Europe rates

   The liner carrier COSCO Container Lines said Friday it plans to hike rates on the westbound Asia-Europe trade in mid-March.    The increase, $775 per TEU, is applicable to all Asia origins (including Japan and the Indian Subcontinent) to all European destinations (including Israel, Lebanon, Syria, North Africa, and the Black Sea Region).    A week ago, Hapag-Lloyd announced a $750-per-TEU rate hike for the trade on the same date. - Eric Johnson ...
